Ryan is one of the two local owners of Senior Care of North Texas, a licensed non-medical home care agency serving Dallas–Fort Worth and the surrounding North Texas counties. He leads community and referral relations: he is the person hospital discharge planners, social workers and senior living staff across North Texas know by name, and the one who comes to a family’s home for the free in-home assessment.
The guides on this site are written from that vantage point. They describe what actually happens when a parent comes home from a Dallas hospital, what a four-hour visit contains, what the flat rate covers, and where non-medical care ends and nursing begins. They are educational, not medical advice, and they never promise an outcome.
How Ryan works with families
Care starts with a phone call, answered around the clock, and a free in-home assessment that usually happens the same day or the next morning. Ryan listens to what the family is worried about, looks at the house, hears what the hospital or therapist recommended, and writes the first plan with the family at the kitchen table. Care can often begin within 24 hours.
The caregivers he introduces are the agency’s own employees, not contractors: background-checked, insured and supervised. He matches one caregiver to the client rather than sending whoever is free, and a family can ask for a different match at any time without explaining why.
The agency publishes its rate, $30–34 an hour, one flat rate whether the visit is at 9am or 2am, with a four-hour minimum and no levels-of-care pricing. Ryan would rather a family knew that before they called than sat through a sales visit to find out.
